Ken Baker: Pastor, Photographer, and the Guy with the Sheep

Flickers of Majesty: Artistic Photography

Ken shoots what stops him — a pelican diving at golden hour, fog rolling off a Carolina ridge, the way light hits a communion table when nobody's in the room. No studio. No staging. Just creation doing what it does, and a man with a camera who can't look away.

Cruising in the Wake: Cruise Planning Resources

Ken and his wife have cruised enough to know which ships get it right and which ones don't. Ship reviews, port guides, dining tips, and accessibility advice — the practical stuff nobody tells you before you book. If you want to know whether the balcony is worth the upgrade, he's already been on both sides of that door.

Who is Ken Baker?

Ken is a pastor in Hudson, Florida. He studied Biblical Studies at Trinity College of Florida and is finishing his Master of Divinity at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina.

He also raises sheep. Actual sheep. The kind that escape fences and ignore everything you say. He'll tell you the sheep taught him more about pastoring than seminary did — and he's only half joking.

When he's not preaching or chasing livestock, he travels with his wife and photographs whatever God puts in front of him. He believes the world is stitched through with glory and that most people walk past it. He'd rather not.
